1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Vikramshila Softwares ("we", "us", "our") about your use of the Ludo 3D mobile game and its online features (the "App") and this website. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, to use the App's online features. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has read and agreed to these Terms with you. Parents and guardians are responsible for younger players who use the App.

3. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not:

• copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or build derivative works from the App, except where the law expressly allows it;
• rent, sell, sublicense or redistribute the App or any part of it;
• remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices;
• use the App to create a competing product, or scrape or harvest data from it.

4. Accounts

Pass-and-play needs no account. When you play online, the App creates an anonymous account for your installation, and you can link it to a Google account to keep your profile across devices.

• You're responsible for activity on your device and account.
• An anonymous account can be lost if you uninstall the App or clear its data before linking Google. We can't recover it.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see Delete your data).

5. Fair play and conduct

Online matches are shared with other people. When you play, you agree not to:

• use cheats, hacks, modified or unofficial clients, bots, scripts or anything that changes dice rolls, moves or game results;
• exploit bugs or glitches instead of reporting them to us;
• use a nickname that is offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, impersonates someone else, or includes personal information such as a phone number;
• harass other players, or deliberately disrupt matches, rooms or Quick Match;
• interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to our servers or other players' accounts or data;
• use the App for anything illegal.

The App checks each move against the game rules and may record diagnostic information about mismatches. We may reset stats, change nicknames, or remove players who break these rules.

6. No real-money play

Ludo 3D is a game of entertainment only. There are no wagers, stakes, cash prizes or entry fees, and you can't win or lose money, prizes or anything of value by playing. You may not use the App, its rooms or its results to organise betting or gambling of any kind.

7. Cosmetic items

Some cosmetic items, such as the Gilded token skin, can be unlocked by watching an optional rewarded ad. These items:

• only change how things look and give no gameplay advantage;
• are licensed to you, not sold, and have no monetary value;
• can't be transferred, traded or exchanged for money;
• are stored on your device, so they may be lost if you uninstall the App, reset your device or switch devices.

We may change or retire cosmetic items, but we'll try not to take away something you've already unlocked.

8. Advertising

The App is free because it shows ads served by Google AdMob. Ad content comes from third-party advertisers, and we don't endorse or take responsibility for the products and services advertised or for external sites you visit from an ad. How ads use your data, and the choices you have, are explained in our Privacy Policy.

9. Ownership

The App, including its code, 3D board and pieces, graphics, sounds, design, the name "Ludo 3D" and logos, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Ludo and Snakes & Ladders are traditional games, and we don't claim ownership of their rules. Some assets and fonts are used under open licences, and the credits are available in the App's store listing or on request. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of anything to you.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without paying you.

10. Third-party services

The App relies on services from Google (Firebase, AdMob and Google Sign-In) and is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We aren't responsible for third-party services, or for any outages they have.

11. Availability and changes

We're continually improving the App, so features, rules options, cosmetic items and online modes may change, be added or be removed. Online play needs an internet connection and may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or outages. Matches may occasionally be interrupted, and if that happens, results and stats may not be recorded. You may need to install updates to keep playing online. We may stop offering the App, or any part of it, at any time. Where practical, we'll give notice first.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it, and you can ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access to online features, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other players or the App. The sections on ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law continue to apply after termination.

13. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or compatible with every device. Dice rolls are random, and we don't guarantee any particular outcome.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer that can't be waived under the law where you live.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, stats, cosmetic items, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Because the App is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it will not exceed INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

15. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise because you broke these Terms or misused the App.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any disputes that aren't resolved that way will be handled by the courts of India. If you're a consumer in another country, you may also have the right to bring a claim in your local courts and to rely on your local mandatory consumer-protection laws.

17. App store terms

Apple. If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you and we acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product claims, including claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple's only obligation will be to refund any purchase price (the App is free). Apple is not responsible for investigating or defending third-party intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Google Play. If you downloaded the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If they conflict with these Terms for your use of the App, these Terms apply to the extent the law allows.

18. General

• Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date, and for material changes we'll let you know in the App or on this site. If you keep using the App after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
• Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the App.
• Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
• No waiver. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
• Assignment. You can't transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a sale of the App.
